Martin Baritone

Musicians’ Repair & Sales founder Maury Oldham has been providing professional instrument repair to the Indianapolis area for more than 65 years. In that time, he’s accumulated quite a few instruments that are unique, antique and collectable.

The name Martin has long been associated with quality brass instruments preferred by top level players. (It just so happens that Musicians’ Repair & Sales is a Martin dealer.) What makes this baritone unique is its rotor valve mechanisms. This baritone horn, made in Elkhart, Indiana, dates to the 1930s. It is very rare, so we take good care of it. Don’t be surprised, though, if you catch one of us playing a tune when Maury’s out of the store!

Selmer Mark VI

Musicians’ Repair & Sales founder Maury Oldham has been providing professional instrument repair to the Indianapolis area for more than 65 years. In that time, he’s accumulated quite a few instruments that are unique, antique and collectable.

This particular horn is quite a collector’s item. The Selmer (Paris) Mark VI saxophone is one of the most sought-after instruments among professional musicians.

The Selmer Mark VI is indeed legendary. Paul Desmond, Stan Getz and John Coltrane are among those who have played it. Owning a Mark VI is to a saxophonist what owning a Stradivarius is to a violinist.
